DAMLA BAYSAL
She was born in 1984 in Göynük, Bolu. She graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Education, Department of Turkish Language Teaching in 2005. After teaching Turkish and Literature at various educational levels for about ten years, she decided to turn his route towards art.
In 2016, she started studying theater and dance at Bilge Acting Academy. On the other hand, she did not break her close bond with literature. While her essays, stories and poems were published in various magazines, she reached a wide readership with her first novel YAKAZA, published in 2019. The theater plays she wrote were performed by various groups.
Baysal, whose interest in art continues in many areas, received training in areas such as Latin dances, modern dance, street jazz and folk dances from famous dancers and choreographers.
She successfully completed her training and was entitled to receive Theater and Creative Drama Instructor certificates in Bilge Performing Arts and Acting Course Institution, which is affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
While she acted in the plays (those are the productions of Bilge Acting Academy) "Asiye Nasıl Kurtulur" (as Asiye), "Tersine Dünya" (as Bitirim Leyla), "Kader mi Kısmet mi" (as Sevtap) directed by M. Doğan Yağcı and "Ateşle Barut" directed by Cihangir Turantaş; she also worked as the assistant director of the play "Zindandaki Şair" directed by M. Doğan Yağcı and starring Cihangir Turantaş, which started to be staged in 2020.
Baysal, who continues her acting studies through the Stanislavski system, received training on the Meisner Technique in various workshops she attended.
She received training in film reading through the language of cinema and has given trainings on literature, psychology and cinema in our institution.
